Northrise Lodge Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Hastings
A Beautiful Edwardian house that we have been renovating. We are situated on the Fairlight Road, approximately 5 minute drive (1.87 miles) from Hastings old town seafront. The Country park is very close, with the Firehills, Fairlight Road Picnic Site, Warren Glen, Fairlight Glen all beautiful places for you to explore, we are an excellent base for walkers and cyclists. Great for a weekend or mid-week break.
We have free street parking at the rear entrance to the B&B, in Beacon Road. There is secure driveway parking for motorbikes.
Two local Bus services run direct from Hastings Train Station to Northrise Lodge, stopping at the back of the property in Beacon Road, opposite our driveway & also at the front, a few yards from our front door. The buses run at regular times every 15-20 minutes. During your stay you can take the bus to Hastings seafront & town centre this is available from as early as 07:30 to 23:00 hours. Breakfast
Full English breakfast is on offer, with a selection of cereals, fruit, toast with jams & marmalade's and kippers. We have gluten free sausages and vegetarian, please inform us before your stay if you have special diet needs and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Breakfast is optional at £7.50
Rooms
Each room has tea, coffee and chocolate making facilities, with complimentary biscuits. Toiletries and towels are provided for you to use during your stay.
There is also a hairdryer in each room and a large flat screen television with freeview. All rooms have double glazing and central heating.
Accessibility
Unfortunately we are an old house with twelve steps leading up to the front of the property with one hand rail. From the back of the property we have a sloping driveway which leads to two steps down and across a patio, with a further step down, then another small step leading to the front door. All rooms are on the first floor which is accessed to by eighteen steps, we have a banister rail all the way to the top.
